Woman robbed at Market Street motel

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police are investigating a robbery at a Market Street motel.

Police say it happened last night just after 11:00 at America’s Best Inn and Suites.

Police say when a woman arrived, two men in hoodies approached her. One pointed a gun at the woman and demanded money. A second suspect grabbed her purse.

Police say both men then ran towards 30th street.

Detectives and Police K9s responded but could not track the suspects.
