Woman allegedly raped downtown

Wilmington Police had a very busy holiday weekend.

A twenty-five-year-old woman said she was raped in downtown Wilmington around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

She was walking by herself when a man allegedly forced her into a portable toilet on Second Street near Princess and raped her.

The incident is under investigation.
