Driver who posted video of Jeep hitting Trump sign charged
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man who posted a video that’s gone viral of him driving off the road and over a Trump campaign sign has been charged for the incident.
Julien Schuessler posted the video yesterday with the caption, “I love having a jeep sometimes.”
Since then, the video has been viewed more than 900,000 times and shared more than 25,000 times.
It apparently caught the attention of Wilmington Police, who tweeted today that they were investigating.

A WPD spokeswoman says Schuessler faces charges for hit and run, reckless driving and failing to maintain lane control.
Schuessler has not yet responded to a message for comment.
