WPD investigating fatal shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a fatal overnight shooting.

WPD responded to the 400 block of Clay Street in reference to a multiple-round ShotSpotter alert around 2:30 Monday morning. When officers arrived, they found Brian Keith Glaspie lying near his home.

Police said the 55 year old died at the scene.

This case is still under investigation.
