WPD investigating shooting that landed two men in hospital

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that happened just before 7:00 p.m. today.

According to WPD spokeswoman Linda Rawley, the shooting happened at 1014 Hanover Street in Wilmington. Police believe it was a domestic dispute.

Rawley says two men were taken to the hospital with injuries and both went into surgery. No word yet on the extent of those injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
