WPD: Man shot Friday morning

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A spokeswoman with the Wilmington Police Department said officers are on scene of a shooting call.

It was reported Friday morning in the area of 10th and Martin streets. Cathryn Lindsay said officers are on scene, but as of now no reports of injuries. According to Ashley Morris from the StarNews, officers found six bullet holes in two cars.

A WPD spokesperson said one man was shot in the leg, but officers believe the injuries are non-life threatening.
