WPD investigating two Friday shootings

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured in Wilmington Friday afternoon.

Police say it happened on Josephine Watson Lane around 4:45 p.m. Friday.

The man was taken the hospital. No word on his condition.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Campbell St around 10:40 pm where a 25 year old
Wilmington man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

It is unclear if the two shootings from Friday are related.

The victim from the Josephine Watson Lane shooting, a 23 year old Wilmington man,  is in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing into both shootings.
