UPDATE: Missing teen found

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department said a missing teen has been found.

Police said Clayton Berry, 17, was reported missing this morning around 5 a.m. Police said Berry was last seen last night around 6 p.m. at the Windham Hotel on Market Street. They believe he could be trying to hitch hike out-of-state to go to see friends or family in Missouri.

Berry is described as a white male, 5’9″ and 150 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes and with scars on both forearms. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki shorts, Nike sandals and high white socks. Police said he also had a black and grey backpack.
