WPD: Man suffers from self-inflicted gun shot wound at Wilmington shooting range

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A man has life threatening injuries after a shooting at a local gun range.

Wilmington Police are investigating what was initially a shots fired call that led them to the BullsZeye Shooting Sports LLC. shooting range in Wilmington.

Police say the incident happened Saturday evening around 6:00 P.M.

When officers arrived they said they found a man with a self-inflicted gun shot wound. He was taken to New Hanover Regional with life threatening injuries.
