WPD mourns K9

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police said goodbye today to a decorated member of the department.

WPD held a memorial service for Huck, one of its K-9s. Huck died last month after a sudden illness.

At the time, he was still in active service, teamed with his handler, Ofc. Carson Sietter. He and Huck won first place at the United States Police Canine Association Region 2 Trials in Burlington last year.
