WPD: Woman hit by car streamed live on Facebook

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police Department has issued warrants for a hit and run for a woman who officers say intentionally hit another woman with her car and it was all caught on camera.

Police received a call and arrived at Willard Street After 1 p.m. on Monday. A Facebook live video showed 19-year-old Shadasia Ellison, a Wilmington resident, intentionally hitting a victim. 19-year-old Tameka Cooper, also from Wilmington, suffered a minor leg injury.

There was a child in the car with Ellison at the time of the incident.

“The next ***** that’s thinking about ******* with my baby daddy, ***** you about to be car repellant because if I see your ***, I’ma vroom,” Ellison said in a video.

She posted another video after incident, warning other of going after her “baby daddy.”
Ellison is wanted for reckless driving and a felony hit and run.

Ellison also has other charges in Lenoir, Onslow, Pender and Brunswick counties, including speeding, possession of marijuana, misdemeanor larceny and more.
