WPD looking for armed suspects

WILMINGTON — Two armed robberies early Sunday have Wilmington Police looking for suspects.

The first happened a little after two.

Police say a man driving on Wrightsville Avenue pulled over after having engine problems. That’s when two men got inside his car and demanded money.

The suspects then stabbed him several times in the neck.

The victim drove himself to Cape Fear Hospital. Police are still looking for the two suspects.
