WPD recovers stolen car

Wilmington police officers have recovered a stolen car, seized two weapons and arrested three men.
A witness reported three men were knocking on doors in the area of 23rd Street and Keaton Avenue claiming their car had been broken into. When police arrived on the scene, the tag on a nearby SUV was ran and found to be stolen. Police ordered the men to the ground and arrested them.
Carrollton Jenkins, Angelo Jenkins and Quinn Everette are in jail tonight and have 16 charges in all against the three of them. Including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle, and resisting arrest. Most of the charges came from this incident but some came from outstanding warrants.
