Wreck on Bradley Creek Bridge sends two to the hospital

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two men are recovering this afternoon after a crash on Bradley Creek Bridge.

Wilmington Police say Joseph Sheridan was headed towards Greenville Loop Road when he lost control of his white infinity.

They say his car slid into oncoming traffic and hit a black BMW, driving towards Wrightsville Avenue.

Investigators say that driver, Paul McCombie, had minor injuries. The extent of Sheridan’s injuries is unknown at this time, but both men were taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Bradley Creek Bridge was closed this morning after the wreck but has since reopened.

Wilmington Police say charges are pending.
