Wrestling event raises money for a cause

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The United Pro Wrestling Association is back in Wilmington tomorrow to put on an action-packed show at CFCC Schwartz Center.

Organizers said you’ll see some good, old-fashioned wrestling that’s fun for the whole family. This is the eleventh year for the event in our area. Proceeds from the event will go to Nourish NC which provides hungry children with healthy food.

“When you come from different areas, how your surroundings and their standards are different, and you don’t think about it,” Brower said. “They’re kids. You try to do anything you can to help kids.”

Tickets are 15 and 20 dollars and the event begins at 7 p.m. and and doors open at 6 p.m.
