Wright dodges $500 fine

WILMINGTON — Indicted state Rep. Thomas Wright got a $500 break yesterday.

The state Board of Elections waived the fine for failing to file his campaign contribution report.

Wright faces fraud charges and a legislative ethics probe for his handling of more than $350,000 dollars in campaign donations, loans and chartable money.

His trial is scheduled for March 3.
