Wrightsboro Baptist Church reveals layout for new community center

A New Hanover County church is reaching farther into the community with plans to build a new community center.

Wrightsboro Baptist Church members revealed the layout of their new 16,000 square foot multi-purpose building. The building will serve as space for hosting after school programs, summer camps and more. Wrightsboro Baptist Church pastor Keith Hollar said, “Having this kind of facility we can have concerts we can have seminars, events to help the community like hosting the Red Cross blood mobiles. It could possibly be a polling site in the future with this size of facility.”

The building is scheduled to open by the end of 2010. Wrightsboro Baptist is also celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
