Wrightsville Beach access no. 33 to remain public
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Good news for Wrightsville Beach locals. Thanks to the town’s board, the beach’s public access 33 will remain public.
The town has agreed to pay the family that owns the five-foot wide pathway twenty-five thousand dollars for rights to the land.
The board had support from the local Surfrider chapter, which is kicking in $15,000 more.
The agreement includes plans to build and maintain a fence along the trail.
