Wrightsville Beach swim advisory lifted

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The state has lifted a water quality swimming advisory issued earlier this month at Wrightsville Beach. The June 2 advisory was posted for an access area off Waynick Blvd., between Snyder and Seashore streets in Banks Channel.

Recent tests show bacteria levels are back to normal and the water is again safe for swimming.
