Toddler stops everything to watch WWAY news

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  We’re always trying to encourage more young people to watch the news.

Well, we now know we have one more who does, and she’s a toddler.

WWAY viewers, Liz and John, sent in a video of their girl, Piper, Wednesday evening. In it, you can see her stop when WWAY News Channel 3 at 5 p.m. comes on the television. She stands for awhile seemingly mesmerized, and then walks up to the television to apparently get a closer look.

Her parents say she has a “news crush.”
