WWAY & StarNews launch Operation Gridlock

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — As you get ready for your day or wind up your afternoon at work, many of you probably dread your commute.

Traffic is such a problem for so many people around southeastern North Carolina that WWAY is teaming up with the StarNews to help you tackle it.

Our new joint venture is called Operation Gridlock. We’ll be focusing on trouble spots around the Cape Fear, what causes the back-ups, what’s being done about them and what the future holds as the region continues to grow.

By joining forces with the StarNews, our newsrooms will be able to offer in-depth coverage on-air, online and in print.
