WWII historian Wilbur Jones to hold two-day book signing at Wilmington’s historic USO building

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Military historian and author Wilbur D. Jones Jr. will host a two-day book signing celebrating the release of his new book on September 8 and 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The book, “Don’tcha Know There’s a War On?: Life, Culture and Harsh Reality on the American Home Front,” examines life on the home front during World War II.

The signings are happening at the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center. The restored WWII-era USO building is located at 120 South Second Street in downtown Wilmington.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Jones and receive a personalized autographed copy of the book.
