Wilmington Police are looking for answers after a woman riding in the back the back seat of a car was shot in the leg Friday night. Police say Jaquelle Parker, 22, was seated behind the driver when she was hit. Wilmington Police say a man was robbed at gun point after the fireworks early Saturday morning. Police say the male victim met a woman during the show and the pair planned to head back to her house just after 2 a.m. While the couple was walking to her home, the victim says they were approached by three mean near S. 5th Avenue and Meares Street. Wilmington Police are searching for a man they say robbed Family Dollar on Market Street. Investigators say a Hispanic male, with curly, shoulder length hair, about 5'11" tall and 175 pounds talked with the cashier for 90 minutes before stealing money from the register Thursday night. Full story...
