Williston grad reunited with long lost class ring

video A few weeks ago we were contacted by a man in Alabama who had found a class ring from the old Williston High School. He and his wife had found it many years ago and were trying to find who it belonged to. Now after much research and years of searching, the ring is on its way to its rightful owner.

Guilty plea not first from Soles

Today was not the first time Sen. R.C. Soles pleaded guilty to a crime. In 1970, he led police on a high speed chase near Fayetteville.

CFCC celebrates Black History Month

NAACP leader contradicts himself on redistricting plan

video Wilmington NAACP president Harold Beatty says the New Hanover County School Board should have redistricted middle schools to create socioeconomic balance and not to keep students at schools close to their homes, but he said he doesn't think busing was the solution.
