Three Columbus County teenagers have been arrested and charged with murdering a Hallsboro man after deputies say they bragged to classmates at East Columbus High School. Sheriff Chris Batten says deputies found three of the victim's guns in the suspects' homes Thursday.

For the second time in a month a Wilmington store clerk has turned the tables on a would-be robber. The owner of the store says the man who allegedly tried to rob the store is "lucky to be alive."
