Wilmington police are searching for an armed robber after he held up the Dollar General at 1600 S. College Road Sunday afternoon. The robbery happened around 2 P.M. according to investigators.

The male victim, age 25, reported that he was in a bar drinking with a man he did not know by name.
According to the victim, the two agreed to go somewhere else to get a drink. The victim said he stopped to sit on one of the benches on Water Street when a third person (male voice) came up behind him and held a knife to his neck.

Wilmington Police are also looking for two young men who robbed a carload of people in the 500 block of Beasley Road. It happened about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Around 6:30 Wednesday night, two men wearing orange ski masks walked into Smith's Grocery and Hardware in Holden Beach.
