1 dead, 1 injured in Bladen Co. shooting

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and one person injured Sunday night.

Sheriff Jim McVicker said investigators found two vehicles near a stop sign near Dublin.  He said one was in a ditch and one was on the road at the intersection of Center Road and Twisted Hickory Road.

McVicker said one person was found dead in the car in the ditch and the other person was taken to an area hospital. His injuries are not known at this time.
