113-year-old Bladen County woman dies

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Florence McCoy celebrated her 113th birthday in February, which family said made her the oldest person in North Carolina.

Sadly, McCoy passed away Monday morning, surrounded by her family, of natural causes.

Family said the 113-year-old will be buried Saturday in Elizabethtown.
