Rouzer helps prepare folks for disasters

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Congressman David Rouzer helped teach folks around the Wilmington area what to do when disaster strikes.

Rouzer hosted a disaster preparedness forum at Wilmington Police headquarters Thursday afternoon.

“We just got to do a good job of getting the word out so folks are attune to it and paying attention and realize that disaster could strike any of us at any time,” said Rouzer.

Our own Chief Meteorologist Scott Dean gave a presentation as well, to educate people about hurricanes and how to prepare for them.
