Dump truck knocks out poles, power along Navaho Trail
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A late morning traffic crash knocked down power poles along a Wilmington road.
Wilmington Police had to shut down Navaho Trail from Verdura Drive to Masonboro Loop Road after they say a dump truck knocked down three power poles near the intersection of Willowick Park Drive shortly after 11 a.m.
Duke Energy crews were on scene this afternoon making repairs. The power company’s website showed several hundred customers in the area were without power.
