19 runs in one inning for North Brunswick baseball appears to be school record
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — We had the sports camera in Leland on Wednesday night. Our timing was perfect for what appears to be a school record. We showed up in the top of the 2nd inning with North Brunswick leading 3-0 against Northside in baseball. North Brunswick erupted for 19 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. They didn’t score again, but they really didn’t need to. North Brunswick beat Northside 22-3. 19 runs in the 2nd inning appears to be a school record for the Scorpions for most runs scored in an inning.
Jaheed Cason had two triples in the 2nd inning. He was also the winning pitcher.
