2 whales stranded on Horry County beach
HORRY COUNTY, NC (WPDE) — Horry County Police and Horry County Beach Patrol are responding to two stranded whales on the beach near Kingston Plantation, according to Justin Wyatt, with Horry County police.
Wyatt said SC Department of Natural Resources, Coastal Carolina University’s Marine Biologist and NOAA have been notified.
A marine expert is on the scene near the Apache Pier now, assessing the condition of the beached whales.
