Infant found abandoned at McDonald’s
An hours-old infant has been found abandoned at a McDonald’s restaurant in southwest Charlotte.
Body found at school identified
The body was identified as 19-year-old Daryon Terrell Walker of Wilmington. Detectives say Walker apparently died of a single gun shot wound.
Valino’s fire update
Valino’s is a total loss at this point, but the good news is that restaurant owners have insurance so they are able to rebuild. Investigators are going to be out here for the remainder of the day to try to figure out why this happened.
Fire at Victaulic plant in Leland
Victaulic is a Leland company that makes sprinkler heads. Ironically, Tuesday afternoon a fire broke out in a large, industrial steel oven in the back of the plant.
