UNCW trustees approve tuition hike

Tuition is likely going up again at UNC Wilmington.

The UNCW Board of Trustees today approved a $283 tuition increase for in-state students for the 2013-14 academic year. The increase, though, is partially offset by a $138.60 overall reduction in fees.

Man wanted for Sneads Ferry assault

The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office is looking for David Anthony Cramer, 33, on several charges, including first degree kidnapping.

The charges stem from an incident on November 26 in Sneads Ferry that left a 20-year-old man seriously injured.
