Live PD series featuring WPD female officers premiere date pushed back

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A new series set to debut on Lifetime will feature some of Wilmington’s hardest working female police officers and it will premiere a little later this month than originally planned.

Lifetime’s new series “Live PD Presents: Women on Patrol” will shine a spotlight on the female officers in the line of duty.

It comes from the team behind A&E’s hit series, “Live PD”.

The show will follow female law enforcement officers from around the country including right here in Wilmington.

Reports say viewers are provided an unfiltered look at the female officers on the front line of some of the busiest police forces in the country.

Instead of premiering Monday, it will debut June 18 at 9 p.m.
