Mom says 6-year-old son hospitalized after standing up to bullies
OLYMPIA, WA (KOMO/CNN) — 6-year-old Washington boy was assaulted after he says he stood up to a group of kids who were bullying his friend.
KOMO reports Carter and his mother, Dana English, left a Seattle hospital Friday afternoon after a morning surgery to repair a laceration in his eye.
“It’s been hell,” Dana said. “I haven’t slept. I haven’t eaten. I can’t do anything. I can’t even leave his side.”
Carter says he was attacked by a group of kids around his age at his apartment complex Wednesday afternoon. He says he confronted the group for bullying his friend.
