NHRMC set to receive initial COVID-19 vaccines on Thursday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover Regional Medical Center expects to receive shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.

In a press release, a spokesman with New Hanover Regional Medical Center said it anticipates it will receive 2,925 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.

The vaccines will be kept at the 17th Street campus and will be distributed to healthcare workers in the coming days.

As of Tuesday afternoon, it appears the earliest NHRMC would begin vaccinations would be sometime Friday.
