2026 Freeman Park permits go on sale Dec. 1 with early discount

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Carolina Beach says 2026 Freeman Park annual permits will go on sale Monday, Dec. 1, with a discounted rate available for in-person purchases through the end of the year.

According to the town, annual permits bought in person between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31 will cost $110 plus applicable fees. Cash or credit/debit cards will be accepted at the following locations:

• Effective Jan. 1, 2026 — Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (except holidays)

Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, annual permits will be sold at the full price of $225 plus fees and will be available both in person and online. Online purchases can be made at the town’s website, but the town notes that permits cannot be mailed and must be picked up in person at the Parking Office during regular business hours.

2026 permits are valid from the date of purchase and may be used to enter Freeman Park for the remainder of 2025. Payment receipts will not be accepted at the gate.

The town also reminds drivers that annual permits must be permanently affixed to the driver’s side of the 4×4 vehicle, and all old permits should be removed.
