280,000 baby rattles recalled due to choking hazard
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is reporting a recall of 280,000 baby rattles sold at Walmart, Kmart, Amazon.com and other stores.
The affected product is the Shake & Sing Elephant Rattles manufactured by VTech. The ears on the elephant can break off, posing a choking hazard.
So far, VTech has received five reports of the ears breaking off, though no injuries have been reported.
The rattles were also sold at Meijer, Mills Fleet Farm, Seventh Avenue and zulily.com from November 2015 through November 2017.
Anyone with the affected product should stop using the rattle and is asked to contact VTech for a full refund at 1-800-521-2010.
