City Council approves Trolley Pub

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington City Council approved a Trolley Pub.

A Trolley Pub lets riders pedal a trolley while drinking.

There are limits though, like only three drinks.

This was approved tonight with a 5 to 2 vote.

Councilman Kevin O’Grady voted against it because he’s worried about trolley drivers monitoring passenger drinking, and also about the trolley passing through area neighborhoods.
