3 arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon in Brunswick County
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — 3 men were arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon for an incident that happened in Southport.
Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the Patrol and Special Operations divisions and officers with the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department, worked together to apprehend the men.
Bradley Hunter Smith, 20, of Boiling Spring Lakes, Cody Hughes Clifton, 24, of Southport, and Jacob Damen Huff, 19, also of Southport have each been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The incident occurred in the area of 2nd Street SE in Southport. The victim was robbed of $200 cash and a cell phone and was not injured during the incident.
Smith, Clifton, and Huff are all being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000.00 bond.
