3 charged in Bladen hog farm break-ins

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office said three men are facing charges in connection with two hog farm break-ins.

Deputies say Anthony Victor Porter, 46, William Coty Reece, 33, and Zed Michael Lambert, 30, are facing charges including felony breaking and entering and felony possession of stolen goods. The arrests happened Monday night after a report of suspicious activity near one of the hog farms. Deputies said the trio was pulled over near the Robeson/Bladen county line and were pulling a trailer with stolen items owned by Murphy Brown Farms.

Deputies seized the vehicle and trailer used by the suspects. The total value of the stolen property recovered was estimated at over $11,000.00.
