3 charged in Hampstead armed robbery

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies in Pender County have charged a trio in an armed robbery.

Deputies said it happened Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. in the 15000-block of US 17 in Hampstead. They said a victim was held at gunpoint by one suspect while the other two took property. A small amount of cash was reported stolen.

Ashley Young, Paul Rush and Quinton Juliano were charged in the incident. Juliano remains in the Pender County Jail under a $175,000 bond on charges including robbery with a dangerous weapon and second degree kidnapping.

There were no reported injuries.
