More than 80 employers at CFCC annual career fair
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College held its annual college and community career fair today.
More than 80 employers set up booths for four hours at the top of the union building today offering full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.
Job seekers were expected to come with resumes and dressed professionally. Some employers even conducted interviews.
Employer Alexis Hinds said she looks for one key thing in her potential employees.
“I want to see people that are eager to find a position,” Hinds said. “I want to see people that come that are open and dressed professionally and speak professionally and we find that here at Cape Fear. We find that most of the people that come to these career fairs are ready.”
CFCC holds this event every spring with companies like Century 21, Holiday Inn Resorts, Bennett Brothers Yachts, the North Carolina Highway Patrol and dozens of others.
