CVS expected to introduce curbside pickup in North Carolina
(CNN) — CVS is expected to to announce the launch of its new curbside pickup service Tuesday.
The company says customers will be able to order items with a mobile app and have them delivered right to their vehicle. The service, called CVS Express, will come without any markups, according to the company.
The retailer also says orders will be ready within roughly an hour. The service will be available immediately at stores in North Carolina, Georgia and California, and at most other US location by the year’s end.
Customer must still pick up prescription drugs inside the store or at the drive-through. About three quarters of CVS’s retail products will be available for curbside pickup.
