Wilmington’s Kadeem Allen shines down under for Pac 12 All-Stars


AUSTRALIA (PAC 12) — Despite a strong first half from the Pac-12 All-Star Team, the Australian National Team headed to Rio pulled away in the second half for a 92-83 win Tuesday night in Melbourne. Washington State alum Aron Baynes powered the Aussie team with a game-high 28 points, while the Pac-12 squad was paced by 15 points from Arizona’s Kadeem Allen.

Note: Kadeem Allen attended Laney High School in Wilmington, transferred to New Hanover for his senior year and won a state 4-A title in 2012.
