Deputies seek suspect in early morning Leland convenience store break-in

LELAND, NC — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of breaking into a Leland convenience store early Thursday morning.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, the break-in happened around 1 a.m. at Tommy’s Mini Mart on Mt. Misery Road.

Authorities released a photo of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the case to contact Detective Caton at 910-253-2777 or call 911.

The sheriff’s office says tips from the public could be critical in solving the case.
