Keep child from getting lost at Wells Fargo Championship

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you are bringing a child to the Wells Fargo Championship in Wilmington this week, there is a way for you to keep them from getting lost.

It is called the Safe-Tee Kid Program.

When you get to Eagle Point Golf Club, you need to take your child to the Information and Guest services tent.
The child will receive a bright colored wristband labeled Wells Fargo Championship Safe Tee Kid. They will also receive instructions that if they become lost, they should find an event volunteer dressed in a red shirt or a deputy, or any other official and tell them.

Volunteers will bring the child back to the guest services tent, where parent and child can be reunited.

The Safe-Tee kid program is free. Volunteers said dozens of families have already taken advantage of it.
