4th Dimension Properties acquires Independence Mall in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Independence Mall has been acquired by Florida-based 4th Dimension Properties.

The mall, which spans 883,285 square feet and features more than 100 retailers, service providers and restaurants, was acquired on August 5th.

Anchor stores include JCPenney, Dillard’s and Belk as well as a mix of national brands and local favorites.

“We are no just running malls – we’re creating places where people connect,” said Felix Reznick, Principal of 4th Dimension. “Independence Mall will continue to evolve as a destination where families shop and dine, friends gather, and the community comes together.”

The statement from 4th Dimension Properties sent to WWAY says the company is excited to bring its expertise in retail revitalization to the Wilmington market and is committed to enhancing the tenant mix and overall shopping experience.
