9 years later, Allison Foy’s murder still under investigation

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thursday marks the 9th anniversary of the disappearance of Wilmington mother Allison Foy.

Allison Foy, a mother a two, went missing July 30, 2006.

This case has been open since 2006, when Foy left the Junction and Billiards Pub on Carolina Beach Road and was never seen again. Almost two years later her remains were found in a low lying ditch just miles from the pub behind a vacant restaurant. Police say Foy and another woman were brutally murdered.

Investigators say they look at the case everyday, but they have not had any breaks.

Foy’s sister Lisa Valentino and the rest of their family have been at the forefront of keeping her name and legacy alive after her death.
